The Fender Player II FSR Telecaster in CME Exclusive Lavender Haze blends timeless Telecaster design with thoughtful modern updates originally requested by Chicago Music Exchange (CME). Its alder body delivers familiar snap and balance, paired with a Modern C maple neck featuring rolled edges and a smooth satin back for effortless playability. A slab rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and a slightly softer attack, complementing the guitar’s expressive voice.
CME-spec Full Dip Tele pickups use Alnico 2 magnets and a subtle 5 percent overwind to smooth the top end while adding extra body and grit. A custom 4-way switching mod expands the tonal range, introducing a series position that delivers a thicker, more powerful humbucker-like voice alongside classic Tele tones. Stable tuning and precise intonation come courtesy of a 6-saddle string-through bridge and ClassicGear tuners.
