Following the critical acclaim given to this axe’s sibling, the SE NF 3, the SE NF 53 was endowed with an aural aperture that wields the same circuit sorcery to drive a deluge of dazzling dynamism. Two PRS-designed Narrowfield DD “S” pickups give you a smorgasbord of tonal possibilities, impressing Sweetwater guitarists with flexible yet focused sonic character. Drawing inspiration from its bigger sibling, the SE NF 53 deploys the “S” variant of PRS’s Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) pickups. With neck- and bridge-mounted options, this diverse dyad captures the peak characteristics of a humbucker, a P-90, a traditional single-coil, and a mini humbucker, merging them into a distinctively voiced and carefully tuned force of punchy, laser-focused tones. Master Tone and Volume controls are complemented by a 3-way blade switch, giving you the keys to robust onboard sound shaping.
